Normal school term has started in France.  I went to Italy with mum while she was working, we flew from Paris to Bologna, had a few hours to visit the city, had an icecream and a piece of pizza. Then we had a 1 hour 40 ish ride to take us to Fano.  We had a bit longer on the way back and visited some of the 7 secrets of Bologna – the best one was the echo wall in the centre of town.  You can talk to the corner of the wall and someone can hear it from across the courtyard……

Once at Fano, Lucia and Ascanio came to pick us up and then drove us to Pergola, which is where we are staying.   In Pergola there are 27 churches, 220 students at the secondary school, and 11 hairdressers.

My Italian is certainly coming along. Most nights I meet up with Ascanio and his mates at the park, which is a 5 minute walk away. His mates are really nice and I do my magic to everyone there, had a crowd of about 20 to 30 people at times; very good practice for both my Italian and my magic.  My mum also asked me to come in and speak to the students in her class.

I got my haircut today seeing as there are 11 hairdressers, first haircut in Italy, I was afraid I was going to say something wrong and for her to cut all my hair off, but it all went well.
